New VFX Cineversity Class

New VFX Cineversity Class

I have a new class over at Cineversity. I show you a few ways you can use matchmoving data from SynthEyes with Cinema 4D and Projection Man. Programs covered in the class: SynthEyes, After Effects, Cinema 4D, Nuke and Photoshop. link

Here’s one of the effects I teach. Also, I show another way to use the 3D tracking data with camera mapping to remove a car from live action footage.

Hi Nate, thanks for the comment. Glad you like my tutorials :). As for the Cineversity tutorials. Yes, they are lower than HD, 800 x 600 for now other than that their of the same quality as my Vimeo tutorials. Soon Cineversity will be getting a facelift. Lots of new features. In my opinion Cineversity has some of the best training around. To me it’s worth it. They have some really great content and trainers there. I’ll be creating more tutorials there in the near future.

    Cheers,
    Josh

Hi Josh, I recently discovered some of your tutorials on vimeo. Thanks for the tips! I’m interested in your class at Cineversity, but concerned about the quality of the video in those tutorials. The preview one that’s available for free is kind of low res, downloads slowly, and has a very low frame rate. I’m thinking it would be pretty difficult to follow along with compared to your HD tutorials on vimeo. Am I wrong? Maxon’s site just seems to be pretty behind-the-times. 🙁
